Date: Sunday, August 28,

Synopsis:
Bungrey creates copies of Sela and Tusk from their
memories and attached bombs to both the real Sela and Tusk and their
memory-made imposters. The team has 30 minutes to figure out which set is the
real Sela and Tusk before the bombs explode!

Impressions
Looks like Bungrey
is going to put his powers to more interesting uses. As much as I enjoy him and
what he adds to the show…I am worried that they’re overusing him and he’ll be
gone soon. I wish they’d put him on the back burner a bit.
Put-ups
For a
clip-show, it was at least an interesting clip show. The idea of having to find
out the impostors is not particularly original but I enjoyed the effort. I also
like how they figured the impostors – they were made from memories so it makes
sense that their recollections would be too perfect. It’s natural to forget
things and minute details.
That scene at
the beginning with Azald and Quval was rather intriguing. The writers are definitely
building up to something, or else I don’t think they’d be making such an issue
of Quval’s behavior since Bungrey showed up. I hope the pay-off is good.
I did like the
team getting irritated by Misao’s sulking and almost not wanting to get him
involved because of it.
The cast looked adorable in their Quiz Show outfits. I really do adore this cast, there's not a single member that bothers me (which hasn't been the case will all the recent teams).
Even though it was a
fairly interesting clip show, it was still a clip-show.

thoughts
I assume that this episode was made to save
money and because I assume this upcoming Gokaiger cross-over episode needed
extra time to film or they needed to save money to make this cross-over happen
(which also explains why they’ve been re-using monster suits so much lately). I
do hope that having a clip show now means we won’t get one for New Year’s like
is usually the case.
As I said in
my put-down section – it was an interesting clip show but it was still a clip
show. And while it was good for a clip-show, I don’t particularly enjoy clip
shows.
